Located in La Ceja, Colombia, San Isidro is a family-owned hydrangea boutique grower. For more than three decades — driven by our founder Daniel Piedrahita's commitment to excellence — we have mastered the growth of exquisite white hydrangeas across fifteen hectares of the Antioquian highlands.

Today a new generation carries the legacy forward, combining tradition with artistry: airbrush techniques that turn our white blooms into more than two hundred and fifty captivating colors.

Watering

Start with a clean vase and fresh room-temperature water. Check daily, add floral preservative if you wish, and change the water every two or three days to prevent bacteria.

Temperature

Keep at 15–21 °C (60–70 °F), away from direct sunlight, heat and drafts. A gentle misting of the petals helps maintain humidity.

Cut stems

Trim stems at a 45° angle with sharp shears, remove submerged leaves, and re-cut about an inch every two or three days for better water absorption.

Wilted blooms

Submerge wilted heads in room-temperature water for twenty to thirty minutes, then re-trim the stems. Be patient — they regain their freshness.

Flowers that care for
their land and their people

growing with purpose

Our farm runs on one hundred percent renewable solar energy and has been herbicide-free for over eighteen years. We use biological pest control, harvest rainwater and dedicate a tenth of our land to biodiversity conservation.

We provide decent, fair jobs for more than fifty workers. Fifty-five percent of our team — and seventy percent of our leadership — are women, including seventeen heads of household.
